by Breitbart News article Breitbart News, the conservative news site that first broke the story of Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer last year, is reporting on the release of a video from an unnamed congressional committee that shows Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) asking a congressional aide whether he has “a video” of President Donald Trump being caught on tape.
Jordan is the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
The clip was originally uploaded to the Congressional Research Service website.
The Post story also says that the congressman is “deeply concerned about Trump’s continuing use of the ‘grab them by the p****’ video as an electoral weapon.” “
The congressman said that the staffer could be the Trump campaign official who was photographed in an August 2016 photo with a woman who he said could be a Russian government attorney.

In a statement to The Hill, a spokeswoman for Jordan’s office told Breitbart News: “Mr. Jordan was in no way involved in the decision-making process or the content of the audio or video clip.
It is important to note that Congressman Jordan was never the subject of any investigation or request for an interview or any other type of review. “
We cannot confirm that the footage was edited or that it was in any way vetted.
“This is the first public disclosure of the content and source of the video, and we will continue to pursue every legal and ethical avenue in our efforts to obtain that information.” “
The video, posted to YouTube by congressional aide Brad Griffin, shows Jordan’s aide discussing the meeting with Rep. Trey Gowdy (R.SC) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), as well as the meeting in a hallway in the basement of the Capitol building. “

“It was in the hallway of the basement where I said, ‘If it is true that we are in a video with this Russian lawyer, I’m going to want to see that video,'” Jordan said, according to the video.
“She goes, ‘I can’t say, but I can say that you are not a member of the Trump presidential campaign, you are the chairman, and you have a video.’
And I said to her, ‘What are you talking about?'”
Jordan said he did not have a camera in the meeting, but said he could have filmed it himself.
“I was standing at the entrance of the hallway and she was there.
And she said, `I can tell you what the video looks like, it looks like Trump being choked, you’re choking him, you can’t see it.’
And I was like, ‘That’s it.
That’s what the audio looks like.’
And she says, `You’re not allowed to say that, because we’re not supposed to be in that video.’
So I was kind of embarrassed, but it’s not like I was trying to hide it, but, I was kinda, I didn’t have the ability to do anything about it.”
Jordan added that he did say, “You’re in the wrong.”
Griffin did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

In the video released by Griffin’s office, Jordan said that Trump had been “saying bad things about women for years.”
“This was his strategy all along,” he said.
He was saying that in the past and he’s saying that now.” “
So he’s doing this in the hopes that women are going to go along with it, that they’re going to give in to this.
He was saying that in the past and he’s saying that now.”
In the interview with The Hill in August, Jordan acknowledged that the meeting had occurred and that he had heard the audio.
“Yeah, I did have a conversation with this staffer who was very upset that we were in this hallway, that he was being choked and he was saying it,” Jordan said.
But he added that the video did not “explain what happened.”
“The clip of that is not something that I’m looking at, and I’m not looking at it, and that is the video,” Jordan told The Hill.
“What’s interesting is the fact that we’re in a situation now where there’s an effort by some of the Republicans in Congress to use this as an excuse to go after Hillary Clinton.”
