Posted February 12, 2018 06:15:48A young woman was rescued from a home where she was allegedly being forced to work at night to feed and house her teenage boyfriend, police said Thursday.
Emily Guevara, 19, was rescued at about 11:30 p.m.
Wednesday from her home on the 700 block of West Main Street in the South Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, police spokeswoman Kelli Smith said.
Guevaga was held at the hospital after the incident, which police say happened during the night.
Her boyfriend, a 16-year-old boy, is accused of forcing her into sex work, Smith said in a statement.
“It is our understanding that Emily Guesa was subjected to sexual exploitation by a male juvenile,” Smith said of the teen.
“We have not found any evidence that Emilly is being forced into prostitution, and she is being held at this time in an appropriate facility.”
Emilia Gueva was rescued by police after she was reportedly forced into sex trafficking by a teen.
Police were able to rescue Guevs daughter from her parents home Thursday morning, according to a statement from the city of Los Angles.
